Youthing Boddy Ascorbic (C6H8O6) 150g Powdered ascorbic.
Ascorbic Acid is the superhero of nutrients. It boosts our immune systems, protects our bodies including our skin against pollution, smoke and other harmful free radicals, and when taken in higher dosages, helps us produce collagen (which helps our skin stay young and radiant!) and cope with stress better, particularly during this covid-19 pandemic.
It should, therefore, form an integral part of our diet and journey to feeling young. Our ascorbic acid is a high-grade product suitable for anyone. To order, please go to Products: Ascorbic“.
Natural Vitamin C versus Ascorbic acid C6H8O6
Many companies are touting Natural Vitamin C as superior to the Ascorbic C6H8O6. This is untrue, and they use this ploy to warrant inflated, exorbitant prices to their clients. They are in fact chemically identical and proven to have no differences in their biological activity. This was investigated in several human studies at the Linus Pauling Institute in Oregon University. They are the world leaders in the study of Vitamin C and its countless benefits to humankind. They stated no clinically significant differences were observed. Read the full report: – https://lpi.oregonstate.edu/mic/vitamins/vitamin-C/supplemental-forms
The incredible benefits of Ascorbic Acid, how to use it and how it is critical in keeping your skin looking years younger, and in the whole aspect of anti-ageing, most of which is covered in the information below.

If you were to ask me what I consider to be the most undervalued, misrepresented, yet most important supplement that can be used to slow down the ageing process, help us stay younger, more vibrant with clear wrinkle free skin, be full of energy and prevent illness, my answer is unequivocally Ascorbic Acid.
Ascorbic acid has the remarkable ability to fight many debilitating diseases, counteract the ill effects of pollution and prolong a healthy life, easily and inexpensively.
Here is what a few notable scientists have to say about ascorbic acid:
Albert Szent-Gyorgyi, M.D., Ph.D., who received the Nobel Prize in physiology/medicine stated that: “If you do not have sufficient vitamins and get a cold, and as a consequence pneumonia, your diagnosis will not be “lack of ascorbic acid” but pneumonia.”
Furthermore, Linus Pauling, Ph.D. stated that: “It is supported by much evidence, that most people in the world have a disease involving a deficient intake of ascorbic acid (a disease that he named hypoascorbemia.)” Linus Pauling did extensive research in heart disease and his famous comment states that: “Ascorbic acid is safer than by-pass surgery and a whole lot less expensive.” He further stated that: “Deficiency of ascorbic acid is one of the primary causes of cardiovascular disease”.
Collagen and ageing
Collagen cannot be formed without ascorbic acid, which is essential to the body in order to produce collagen. Collagen is the body’s most important structural substance and is intimately connected with the entire ageing process. Lack of ascorbic acid means a lack of collagen, and a lack of collagen leads to ageing.
Ascorbic acid and the Skin
Ascorbic acid is an essential to skin health, both as an anti-oxidant and as a critical factor for collagen synthesis. Though not a UV blocker, it is needed for photo-protection against sun damage and promotes adequate wound healing.
Ascorbic acid in clinical trials on cancer
Dean Burk of the National Cancer Institute stated “The great advantage that ascorbates possess as potential anticancer agents is that they are, like penicillin, remarkably non-toxic to normal body tissues. In our view, the future of effective cancer chemotherapy will not rest on the use of host-toxic compounds now so widely employed, but upon virtually host non-toxic compounds that are lethal to cancer cells, of which ascorbic acid represents an excellent prototype example. Some doctors even replace the chemo therapy agent with high dose ascorbic.”
Ascorbic acid is detoxifying
Ascorbic acid is a potent detoxifying supplement that can neutralize the harmful effects of many poisons including mercury and arsenic.
It detoxifies carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, and carcinogens and is the only immediate protection we have against the bad effects of air pollution and smoking. It increases the therapeutic effect of different drugs and medicines by making them more effective. Therefore, less of the drug involved is needed when it is taken along with large amounts of ascorbic acid. Even an aspirin should be accompanied by a large dose of ascorbic acid, to heighten its analgesic effect and reduce its toxic effect on the body.
Did you know humans cannot store ascorbic acid?
The body cannot store ascorbic acid, and so any excess is rapidly excreted. This means that the body requires a continuous supply thereof to replenish losses and depletions. The livers of nearly all mammals are constantly making and secreting ascorbic acid into their bloodstreams, but a human’s liver is unable to do this. We need a constant outside supply to make up for this genetic defect.
Under times of stress we need more ascorbic
Any form of biochemical stress or physical trauma will cause a dangerous drop in the ascorbic acid levels of the body in general, or locally in the affected organs or tissues. In animals that are biochemically equipped to produce their own ascorbic acid, any stressful situation causes them to synthesize greater amounts of ascorbic acid to replace the amounts that are destroyed or utilized when combating stress. Humans cannot do this; we need a constant daily, external supply.
How much ascorbic do we need?
A 70-kilogram adult human is estimated to require a daily intake of 2000 to 4000 milligrams (2 to 4 grams) of ascorbic acid, under conditions of little or no stress. Under conditions of stress, research indicates an amount of about 15000 milligrams (15 grams) is needed per day. Under conditions of severe stress, even greater amounts may be required.
Boddy-Ascorbic is non-toxic, and can be used alone as it has a myriad of benefits. My book “Know the Truth” explains in more detail how much higher doses are quite safe. It has been postulated that the minimum dose for an adult should be 10 grams (10,000 mgs) per day. High doses should be built up gradually according to bowel tolerance.
How to Take It:
The best way to take vitamin C supplements is 2 – 3 times per day, with meals, depending on the dosage. Some studies suggest that adults should take 250 – 500 mg twice a day for any benefit. Talk to your doctor before taking more than 1,000 mg of vitamin C on a daily basis and before giving vitamin C to a child.
Boddy-Chelation is always taken mixed with the Boddy-Ascorbic. Please do NOT use the chelation formula without the Boddy- Ascorbic, though of course ascorbic can be used alone.
